Notifications are not available in the browser or installed PWA. Use the native app for phase reminders.
Notification types
Turns on phase reminders for the current plan so the app can prompt you at the right time.
On: phase reminders include the substance name (e.g. "MDMA: Peak reached"). Off: they read "Session update" instead. Turn off if you don't want the substance visible on your lock screen or to anyone who glances at your phone.
Persistent browser storage reduces automatic eviction under storage pressure. It is still not a backup and does not prevent data loss when site data is cleared or a device is reset.

Fracton starts with the bundled build dataset. Refreshing saves a newer copy only on this device; the bundled dataset remains available as a reset point. Custom substance values still take priority where they exist.

Android exports are supported in both the legacy format and the newer Android Journal format. The preview identifies unmatched substances before anything is changed.

Welcome to Fracton
Fracton brings together separately labelled information from TripSit and PsychonautWiki, effect explanations from EffectIndex, and additional Fracton guidance.
Sources can differ or disagree. Fracton keeps their identities visible so you can compare them instead of hiding everything behind one unexplained answer.
Substance reference
Substance pages organize more than a dose table. They are designed to show what each source says, where information is missing, and which route or context a value belongs to.
Combination checker
The combination checker puts the source assessment first, then shows pair-specific notes, evidence context, and separately attributed source assessments where available.
Private journal
Log individual doses, routes, times, notes, costs, and repeated entries, then review your history through timelines, calendars, consumption, spending, and tolerance views.
Safety and limitations
No database can identify what you have, account for every person or situation, or make substance use safe. Important information should be cross-checked whenever possible.

Local data protection
Fracton stores your journal, settings, and offline app files locally. Allow protected storage so your browser is less likely to remove them automatically when space is tight.
This does not upload anything and it is not a backup. Export your journal separately if you cannot afford to lose it.
