Encrypt your journal?

Your journal is stored on this device. Encryption adds protection if someone gains access to that local data:

• With encryption (Recommended): entries are scrambled with Argon2id + AES-256-GCM. Only your passphrase can read them, nothing else. You can choose when you want your journal to be automatically locked, you can also always lock it manually. If you lose your passphrase, the journal can't be recovered.
• Without encryption (Not Recommended): entries stay on-device but are readable by any app or person with access to the phone's storage.

You can change this later in Settings.

Encrypt your journal

Your journal is encrypted with Argon2id + AES-256-GCM. Pick something long and hard to guess.
